    supplies to make

Towards the begin of the party I had all the children take there Hogwartz School Id in front of Platform 9 3/4 –  see my separate blog post on wow to make Harry Potter Backdrop: Platform 9 3/4.   So every one had a picture for the frame.

I had all the frames set up for the kids will pages of the book on the table.  The instructions I gave was you can rip the pages to make a collage. I have them several dishes of modge pod ad every one had their own sponge brush.

  1. You have to wet the frame with the mod podge then apply the pages,  and be sure to layer the mod podge   between.  Rip the paper for a collage effectapply paper to frame
  2. Dont forget to have the kids add there name in a Harry Potter Font  you can down load the Harry Potter font here for personal use.
  3. Allow it to dry for 20-40 minutes
  4. When dry cut out overhang on inside of frame and outsidecutting of over hang
  5. Sand edges with sand paper,  this will give the frame rounded edges and alow it more finished,  the apply one more layer of Modpodge
  6. Insert picture and enjoy.

The kids love this Harry Potter Theme craft.  It also made a great party Favor for the Harry Potter Party.  It is also a great frame for those harry potter pictures.harry potter craft frame

  1. Ooo, I love it! My kids are not up to Harry Potter yet, except one sort of sometimes likes the movies. Boooo 🙁

  2. This is the cutest idea!!! What a great favor for the kids to bring home and it also keeps them busy during the party. I am sharing with my Harry Potter friends so they can become inspired for their next birthday party.

  3. Love these! We have yet to read the Harry Potter series but I imagine it is something that we’ll be starting in the next year or so. Totally saving this idea!

  4. I absolutely love it! it’s a great idea to turn a book into something they will remember forever and build the connection with reading and fun times!
